17 people detained for gambling using dice shaking

Today, May 29, the Criminal Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police said that the unit is temporarily detaining and investigating 17 subjects for "gambling" and "gambling" in Hai Khe commune, Hai Lang district.

Previously, at 2:30 p.m. on May 28, the Criminal Police Department's working group coordinated with Hai Khe Commune Police to discover and catch 16 people gambling by shaking dice for money at the house of Hoang Kim Luan (born in 1980), Tham Khe village, Hai Khe commune, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province.

Evidence seized at the scene included more than 63 million VND in cash, 1 white porcelain plate, 1 porcelain bowl, 4 round pieces cut from playing cards and many related objects and documents. Subject Hoang Kim Luan was also investigated for providing locations and tools for the above subjects to conduct gambling activities for illegal profit.

The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the Criminal Police Department for strict handling according to the provisions of law.
