On the afternoon of April 1, at the headquarters of Nam Dinh Provincial Police, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Permanent Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired the ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work.
According to the announced decision, from April 1, the Minister of Public Security will transfer and appoint Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh , Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, to hold the position of Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police.
At the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To presented the above decision to Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To assigned tasks to Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh and noted specific tasks and issues related to ensuring security and order in Nam Dinh province.
Welcoming the new Director of the Provincial Police, Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee Pham Gia Tuc affirmed that the provincial Party Committee and government will create all favorable conditions for Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh to perform well the assigned duties and tasks.
In his acceptance speech, the new Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security for trusting and appointing him to the position of Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police. He vowed to continue to train and strive, and work together with the Provincial Police to unite and successfully complete all assigned tasks, contributing to ensuring peace and economic, cultural and social development in the province.
Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh, 47 years old, from Trieu Son district, Thanh Hoa province, joined the People's Public Security force in 1997; has a PhD from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, a Master's degree from the People's Security Academy, a senior political theory officer; and a senior investigator. Before being appointed as Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police, Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh had a long time working at Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, holding the positions of Deputy Chief of Staff; Chief of Staff of the Provincial Public Security; and Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security.
As Dai Doan Ket Online reported, in January 2024, Colonel Tran Minh Tien, Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police, was transferred and appointed by the Minister of Public Security as Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency - Ministry of Public Security.
Since then, Colonel Bui Quyet Toan, Deputy Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police, has been assigned by the Minister of Public Security to be in charge of the provincial police.
Previously, in June 2020, Colonel Tran Phu Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Cyber Security - High-tech Crime Prevention (Ministry of Public Security) was transferred and appointed by the Minister of Public Security as Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police. Previously, Colonel Tran Phu Ha graduated from Nam Dinh Provincial Police and became Deputy Director of this Provincial Police. He currently holds the rank of Major General.
