Miss Universe Mexico Fatima Bosch's victory at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant (November 21) continues to cause fierce controversy. After the final night, the official fan page of Miss Universe was fiercely "attacked" by the online community.

Posts on the page were flooded with angry emojis, far outnumbering any other emoji. In the comments section, users left negative comments, criticizing the pageant organizers and attacking the newly crowned Miss Fátima Bosch.
The suspicion of buying the prize continues to spread.
Among the most serious allegations is that the President of the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), Mr. Raúl Rocha - a Mexican - favors Fátima. Some sources also spread suspicions that Mr. Rocha and Fátima's father, Mr. Bernardo Bosch Hernandez, have a business relationship.
Former judge Omar Harfouch continued to “add fuel to the fire” when he released a series of evidence that allegedly accused MUO of cheating on the results. Mr. Omar had previously announced his withdrawal from the role of judge right before the semi-finals.

Specifically, Omar posted photos of the competition trophies, saying they were taken on November 14 - the time he was preparing to fly to Bangkok (Thailand). He affirmed that MUO President Raúl Rocha personally handed him the trophies in Dubai to bring to Thailand because he was "afraid of being detained by Thai authorities due to legal risks related to the fraudulent acquisition of MUO".
“The results for the Miss Universe titles by continent and the trophies were decided weeks ago,” Omar said, adding that Rocha’s entire staff was aware of the matter. On social media, Omar also published a screenshot of a text message allegedly between Rocha’s assistant, discussing the trophy in Bangkok.
Mr. Omar Harfouch asked to strip Fátima Bosch of her crown, claiming that “there are financial and political links between her family and MUO.” He also proposed the establishment of an independent jury, with audit oversight to ensure transparency.
Miss Fatima Bosch: “I will not fall”
Under pressure from public opinion, on November 25, Fatima Bosch made public the insulting and threatening messages she had received in recent days. The beauty affirmed that she was not subdued.

“What must be in a person’s heart to be able to say these words to a stranger? Thank God I have self-worth, self-respect and stability, this cannot break me,” she said.
She emphasized that she wanted to use the Miss Universe title to protect women and fight against cyber violence: “To all the women who have suffered violence in any form, I promise you one thing: I will not be silent. I will use my role, my voice to protect women. You are not alone.”
The Miss Universe 2025 Organizing Committee also denied all allegations of fraud, affirming that the last season was "successful with the highest number of viewers in the history of the contest", more than 2.6 million views on television and 2.6 billion searches on social media platforms.
The new Miss's father speaks out
On November 26, Mr. Bernardo Bosch Hernandez - Fátima's biological father - officially spoke out. He currently holds a high position at Pemex, Mexico's national oil and gas corporation.

In a letter to fans, he completely denied rumors surrounding him, including information that he and MUO President Raúl Rocha were business partners.
He said he only met Rocha once on September 13 when the Miss Universe Mexico pageant was held.
“After Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe 74, false news about my family spread. However, all the information spread was false and lacked the seriousness that journalism should have,” he wrote.
He also denied considering or awarding contracts to businesses related to Rocha, and asked individuals spreading false information to stop or make corrections.
Surpassing more than 120 contestants, Fátima Bosch (25 years old) from Mexico was crowned Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand. She is a model and fashion designer, graduated in Fashion Design from the Iberoamericana University.
She then continued her studies at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Milan) and the Lyndon Academy (Vermont, USA). Currently, Fátima owns her own fashion brand.
