TAN HUNG SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED THE FIRST BOLERO SINGING CONTEST IN TAN HUNG DISTRICT

Tan Hung District Culture, Information and Broadcasting Center in coordination with the District Labor Federation has just successfully organized the 1st Tan Hung District Bolero Singing Contest - Celebrating the Year of the Dragon 2024, attracting a large audience to watch and cheer.

The audience came to watch and cheer for the contestants.

The contest was attended by nearly 60 contestants who are people with permanent residence in the district; union members working in the district's grassroots union organization. In the rounds, contestants performed solo with Vietnamese new music songs in the lyrical Bolero genre praising the homeland, people, singing about pure love... composed by Vietnamese musicians at home and abroad before and after 1975, permitted to be distributed according to regulations, in accordance with the content of the contest. After the preliminary round held on January 26, the Organizing Committee selected 13 performances with the highest scores to compete in the final round on the evening of February 2.

The contestants who entered the final ranking round invested more in practicing their singing and costumes.

Ms. Vo Thi Huong - Former Director of Long An Province Cultural and Art Center (Singer Truong Giang), Head of the Jury commented that through the rounds, the contestants have invested more in their singing and costumes. She also noted some limitations in pronunciation and emotions when performing the song;...so that the contestants can learn from their experiences and practice better in the following competitions.

Ms. Vo Thi Huong - Former Director of Long An Province Cultural and Arts Center, Head of the Jury, gave comments at the final ranking night.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung - Hung Dien Trade Union, 02 Second Prizes to Vo Minh Chat - Vinh Thanh Trade Union, Huynh Thi Thu Huong - Vinh Loi Trade Union; awarded 03 Third Prizes and 07 Encouragement Prizes to the remaining contestants who performed well in the final ranking night. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 01 additional prize to the contestant with the most impressive performance style.

The Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to 01 First Prize winner and 02 Second Prize winners./.
