Tan Son Nhat has a free shuttle bus for connecting passengers from terminal T3.

To serve passengers more attentively and conveniently in transit flights from Terminal T3 to Terminal T1, Tan Son Nhat International Airport has deployed a Shuttle Bus route (free of charge) inside the aircraft parking lot.

Accordingly, from 1.5, Shuttle Bus routes will operate from 7am to 3am the following morning with a frequency of 20 minutes/trip. These shuttle buses will run from the Transit Hall of Terminal T3 - passing through the aircraft parking lot and dropping off passengers at Gate A2 of Terminal T1. Passengers will then take their flights at Terminal T1 (for domestic flights) and Terminal T2 (for international flights).

According to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, today (May 1), 353 departures and 362 arrivals are expected to be served at Tan Son Nhat. The flights are mainly on domestic routes with 406 departures and arrivals. At domestic passenger terminal T3, Tan Son Nhat International Airport is expected to operate 41 flights with more than 9,100 passengers.

This is a special bus route for transit passengers who have checked in and have boarding passes for the next leg and checked baggage that has been transferred by the airline.

Passengers are moving into the terminal to the A2 gate and following the correct route to continue their departing flight at the departure terminals T1, T2.

In order to ensure security, flight safety and traffic coordination during peak hours, Tan Son Nhat International Airport has closely coordinated with relevant units and requested airlines to arrange personnel to be on duty at check-in counters and departure gates to support and promptly notify passengers in case of flight delays or cancellations to avoid causing frustration and disorder at the terminal. Non-aviation service providers, taxi companies, technology cars and food suppliers are also required to ensure service quality and food hygiene and safety.

For the convenience of the journey, Tan Son Nhat International Airport recommends that passengers should be present at the domestic terminal 2 hours before departure and the international terminal 3 hours before departure; prepare all personal documents, check luggage according to regulations; prioritize online check-in procedures to save time.
