Increased by 300,000 VND/tael, gold bars nearly reach 120 million VND mark

(GLO)- On June 26, the domestic price of gold bars and gold rings increased simultaneously, showing a significant recovery of the market. In particular, gold bars nearly reached the 120 million VND/tael mark.

According to the survey, the price of SJC, DOJI , and Bao Tin Minh Chau gold bars is listed at 117.8-119.8 million VND/tael for both buying and selling, an increase of 300,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company alone, the price was recorded at 119 million VND/tael (buy), an increase of 200 thousand VND/tael, while the selling price reached 119.8 million VND/tael, an increase of 300 thousand VND/tael. Vietinbank Gold listed the selling price at 119.8 million VND/tael, an increase of 300 thousand VND/tael. Phu Quy listed it at 117-119.8 million VND/tael, an increase of 300 thousand VND/tael.

The price of gold rings also increased sharply. Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price at 115-118 million VND/tael, an increase of 500,000 VND in both directions.

SJC listed the price of gold rings at 113.8 million VND/tael for buying and 116.4 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 300,000 VND each way compared to yesterday.

Phu Quy 999.9 round rings are traded around 113.7-116.7 million VND/tael, also increasing by 400,000 VND each way.

PNJ gold rings are currently bought at 114 million VND and sold at 116.7 million VND, while the AJC system quotes round rings and jewelry gold at the same price of 114-117 million VND/tael.

Kim Gia Bao's (BTMH) blister-pressed ring products jumped to 115.05 million VND/tael for buying and 117.8 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 500,000 VND each way.

World gold price, at 11:00 on June 26 (Vietnam time), the world spot gold price was at 3,337.52 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 6.41 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,290 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 109.88 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Compared to the domestic SJC gold bar price on the same day (117.5-119.5 million VND/tael), the current SJC gold price is about 9.62 million higher than the international gold price.
