According to the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), in addition to the Prime Minister's Project 319 on checking counterfeit goods and goods infringing intellectual property rights to protect consumer rights, in the coming time, the Department will strengthen market control and inspection, especially in the e-commerce environment.

Besides the supervision of the authorities, smart consumption is the shield against counterfeit and poor quality goods. Therefore, the role of consumers is extremely important when online consumption is becoming more and more popular.

The Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy is advising the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to submit to the Government the Law on E-commerce to better manage the e-commerce environment. Along with that, this agency also strengthens inspection and handling of violations, closely coordinates between relevant agencies in the National Steering Committee 389, between localities through data sharing, and applies digital technology to handle violations in the digital environment.
