Enhance communication skills and respond to press information

On the afternoon of October 16, the People's Committee of Chon Thanh town organized a training conference on spokesperson work and providing information to the press, for leaders of specialized agencies of the town and People's Committees of communes and wards, along with civil servants advising and assisting spokespersons and providing information to the press of units, communes and wards.

At the conference, the delegates were informed by the leaders of the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Phuoc province about the following contents: Press Law No. 103/2016/QH13 dated April 5, 2016, Decree No. 09/2017/ND-CP dated February 9, 2017 of the Government detailing the speaking and providing information to the press of state administrative agencies.

How to choose the appropriate form to make statements and provide information to the press. Disseminate some legal regulations on statements and provide information to the press directly related to difficulties in the process of making statements and providing information to the press in the town in the past time. Communication skills, responding to information to the press, conducting interviews with spokespersons and providing information to the press.

The training aims to equip cadres and civil servants of agencies and localities with skills to continue to effectively implement the provisions of the Press Law on speaking and providing information to the press. Thereby contributing to enhancing the provision of official information to the press, meeting the requirements and tasks of propaganda work for socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the town.
