(GLO)- On the morning of April 17, at Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School (Kim Tan Commune, Ia Pa District, Gia Lai Province), during the flag salute ceremony at the beginning of the week, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Vice Chairman of Ia Pa District People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the District People's Committee along with a bonus of 1 million VND to Kpa Nguyen.

As reported by Gia Lai Electronic Newspaper, on the afternoon of March 28, while on his way out, when he heard the cries for help from two 12th grade students struggling in the water, Nguyen without hesitation jumped into the deep water to bring the two victims safely to shore.
Recognizing and praising the brave and self-sacrificing action of Kpa Nguyen to save people, Vice Chairman of Ia Pa District People's Committee Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized: This is a noble and courageous act, an example for students to learn and follow.
At the same time, through this incident, the Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee also hopes that local authorities, schools, and families will strengthen the work of preventing drowning for children. Students should not play, bathe... in dangerous areas to minimize risks and heartbreaking incidents due to drowning.
