Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung praised the Standing Committees of the district, town, and city Party Committees, the preparatory committees for cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the entire political system of the 54 new communes and wards for their efforts and full presence to test the administrative apparatus in the new communes and wards to gain experience and solutions in the coming time, to ensure that the new communes and wards operate smoothly, in accordance with the 2-level government model, and to be ready for the new communes and wards to operate from July 1, 2025.

Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested that leaders of departments, branches and localities strengthen coordination to promptly remove and overcome difficulties, shortcomings and limitations drawn from the trial operation. Focus on completing the preparation work to ensure the best operating conditions for the new communes and wards to come into operation. Continue to complete the facilities, prioritize technological equipment for smooth operation and prioritize the department serving the people. The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities inspect, collect and replace old nameplates with new names. Strengthen visual and vivid propaganda work and prepare well for the ceremony to announce the operation of the 2-level local government. The preparatory committees of the new communes and wards fully and thoughtfully prepare for the first meetings according to regulations from July 1.

Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung noted that the Standing Committees of the district, town and city Party Committees assigned specific tasks from the district level to the commune level so that in the first week of July, the People's Committees of the new communes and wards will meet to deploy tasks on socio -economic development, national defense and security. At the same time, the new communes and wards need to increase the application of information technology, artificial intelligence AI... to operate the Public Administration Service Center smoothly and better. The leaders of the departments and branches directly direct the removal of difficulties related to the areas under their responsibility so that the new communes and wards can operate smoothly and effectively.
