An Giang Provincial Military Party Committee held a conference for the first 6 months of the year

On June 20, the An Giang Provincial Military Party Committee held a conference of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the first 6 months of the year; proposing policies and measures to lead tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Provincial Military Command and Party committees at all levels in the provincial armed forces have comprehensively led the implementation of all aspects of military work, local defense and Party building. Especially the work of grasping the situation, strictly maintaining combat readiness; advising the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and leaders to accurately and promptly handle all situations, avoiding passivity and surprise, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area. Military work, defense, construction and activities of defense zones have achieved good results. Party work and political work have become increasingly systematic, achieving practical results. Logistics, technical and financial work have made much progress to meet the requirements of assigned tasks.

At the conference, many discussions demonstrated a sense of responsibility, objectively assessed the results of leadership in implementing political tasks in the first 6 months of the year; proposed specific, practical, and highly feasible leadership policies and measures for the coming time.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang requested the Provincial Military Party Committee to focus on leading the Provincial Military Command, the Standing Committee, and Party Committees at all levels in the provincial armed forces to focus on building a "Clean and Strong" Party Committee; strictly comply with working regulations, principles, and regulations in the leadership activities of Party organizations at all levels. Do a good job of protecting internal politics, fighting against signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, self-evolution, and transformation within the Party. Strictly handle all violations of Party discipline, State law, and Military discipline, without exception, without forbidden areas.

Seriously implement the arrangement of the Army organization according to the policies and instructions of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission, especially doing a good job of ideological work, promptly and reasonably resolving regimes and policies, creating high unity among cadres, employees and soldiers, ready to receive and strictly comply with the organization's assignments and mobilizations. Continue to review and strictly manage public assets, finance and defense land; provide technical equipment and hand over fully and in accordance with regulations to the newly merged provincial Military Command.

Actively study and grasp the viewpoints and guidelines of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and Military Region 9 to proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to lead and direct the serious and effective implementation of local military and defense tasks, associated with socio-economic development, in accordance with the practical conditions of the province.

Thoroughly grasp and strictly implement directives, orders, and combat readiness plans; coordinate with the Kien Giang Provincial Military Command to adjust combat documents; guide the development of documents for the commune-level military command after the merger and the newly established regional defense command.

Regularly coordinate closely with forces to grasp and accurately forecast the situation, especially on the border and important areas to promptly advise the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to effectively handle situations, absolutely not to be passive or surprised. Proactively carry out foreign affairs well with units of the Royal Cambodian Army to strengthen the traditional solidarity relationship, build a peaceful, friendly, cooperative border for mutual development.

Leaders carry out well the education and training work for the subjects. Focus on improving the quality of training and fostering cadres at all levels, taking cadre training as the key to comprehensively improve the quality of training work of the provincial armed forces.
