Facilitating international tourists to Iran

Tomorrow afternoon, July 1, the conference "Iran Tourism - Iran Tourism Roadshow, Southeast Asia 2024" will be held for the first time in Vietnam.

The seminar "Iran Tourism - Iran Tourism Roadshow, Southeast Asia 2024" took place at Pullman Hanoi Hotel, not long after Iran unilaterally exempted 15-day tourist visas for Vietnamese citizens.

The purpose of the Workshop is to promote the culture and the most authentic image of Iran to travel businesses, thereby conveying it to the people, Vietnamese and international tourists.

The seminar "Iran Tourism - Iran Tourism Roadshow, Southeast Asia 2024" was co-organized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran in coordination with the Embassy of Iran in Vietnam.

In addition to introducing Iran's tourism potential, the conference will have a direct business-to-business (B2B) meeting program between businesses of the two countries with the desire to further promote cultural and tourism relations.

The conference is expected to be attended by Iran's Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Ali Ashgar Shalbafian; Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong; Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Vietnam Ali Akbar Nazari; representatives of 9 prestigious and experienced travel agencies in Iran and representatives of travel agencies and tourism organizations in Vietnam.

With an important geopolitical position due to being located in the center of the Eurasian continent and close to the Strait of Hormuz, Iran is the second largest country in the Middle East, the 17th largest in the world with a population of nearly 90 million people (2022).

As one of the oldest civilizations in the world with many historical and cultural heritages, unique natural landscapes, and impressive world heritages, Iran is increasingly becoming an extremely attractive destination for global tourists.
