Can you tell us about the outstanding results in training and combat readiness exercises of the city's military in 2024?

In 2024, Hue City Military Command completed a year of training with quite comprehensive results, completing tasks well; the training quality of agencies and units was ensured to be consistent and solid. Through training, the qualifications and capacity of cadres at all levels and the overall quality and combat readiness of agencies and units were improved, ready to effectively handle possible situations, not to be passive or surprised.

The outstanding achievements of the city's armed forces are combat readiness, training, drills, regular construction, and maintaining discipline. At the same time, directing units to effectively implement the content of the training program and plan for the subjects; defense area drills at the city and district levels; drills to respond to oil spills at sea, tactical drills with live ammunition at all levels... with many innovative contents, close to reality, achieving quality, efficiency, and ensuring absolute safety.

The combination of training with regular building, building a strong and comprehensive agency and unit, "Exemplary, typical" is closely led and directed by the Party Committee and commanders. The work of managing troops, weapons and equipment is maintained seriously, in accordance with the hierarchy; the self-awareness of soldiers in complying with the State law and the Army's regulations is increasingly raised; the etiquette and demeanor of soldiers have many progressive changes.

In preparation for training in 2025, what solutions will the City Military Command focus on to create a breakthrough in training according to the motto "Basic, practical, solid", focusing on synchronous and in-depth training?

The Standing Committee of the City Military Party Committee identified combat readiness training as a key political task; therefore, it has developed a specialized resolution with synchronous and comprehensive solutions to create a comprehensive breakthrough and improve the quality of training in the new situation. Through inspection, agencies and units have strictly implemented the resolutions, directives, orders and instructions from all levels. The preparation work for the implementation of training tasks is strict, focused, key, ensuring content and time.

The City Military Command thoroughly grasps and effectively implements the Resolutions of the superiors on "Improving the quality of training"; focuses on making profound changes in ideology, awareness, combat training tasks, agency building, and discipline management. At the same time, organizes education for officers and soldiers to have a clear understanding of the tasks of the army and units; training tasks in the new situation.
