BRG GROUP AND SEABANK DONATE 1 BILLION VND TO THE CAPITAL'S "FUND FOR THE POOR"

On October 3, at the Launching Ceremony of the Peak Month "For the Poor" and Social Security in 2023 organized by the People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, BRG Group and Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank SeABank donated 1 billion VND to the "Fund for the Poor" of the Capital, affirming the role and responsibility of a model corporate citizen during the 30 years of formation and development of the entire BRG Group ecosystem. Also at this event, BRG Group was honored by the People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi for its positive contributions to poverty reduction and social security in the city.

From the very first days of operation, social security activities have always been one of the top priorities of the entire BRG Group ecosystem, demonstrating the spirit of "helping each other", "mutual love" and joining hands and hearts with the government and people from the central to local levels in community-oriented activities.

In 2022, BRG Group donated 500 million VND to respond to the Capital's "For the Poor" Peak Month. Previously, in 2020, BRG Group and the North Hanoi Smart City Joint Venture Company also contributed 1 billion VND to this fund.

BRG Group representative received a symbol recognizing positive contributions to poverty reduction and social security in the city.

In addition, the BRG Group ecosystem also participates in many other charitable activities such as sponsoring the "For Vietnamese Children" Scholarship Fund, the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund, the "SeABank Run for Future" program, coordinating with the Ministry of Public Security and Ha Tinh province to build 1,000 houses for households with housing difficulties in Ha Tinh province...

The peak month "For the poor" and Social Security in 2023 organized by the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city is a meaningful charity activity when supporting the construction and repair of degraded houses for poor households, supporting poor households with seeds and capital for production development, helping to examine and treat the poor, helping children of poor families have more conditions to go to school... Thereby, many poor households have become aware and confident in striving to escape poverty, helping to reduce the poverty rate of the City.
