Delegates were fully trained on exam regulations, exam invigilation, exam inspection, and skills to detect and handle violations of regulations. In particular, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Viet Tien - Deputy Head of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (PA05) - Lam Dong Provincial Police presented the topic "Identifying and preventing high-tech devices for exam cheating".
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Viet Tien, the methods of cheating on exams using high-tech devices are increasingly sophisticated and complex. Many devices are disguised as ATM cards, watches, pens, glasses, belts or even integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual assistants to support solving exam questions. The provincial police have discovered a number of cases of using AI technology embedded in shoe soles to film exam questions and broadcast them. In addition, many closed groups on social networks also sell exam cheating devices with super small designs that are difficult to detect.
The police agency warned that the exam questions and answers of the High School Graduation Exam, which have not been officially announced, are classified as “top secret” state secrets. Therefore, any act of collecting and distributing exam questions and answers on social networks is a violation of the law and can be subject to criminal prosecution.
