Training on ethnic and religious work for commune and ward officials

Speaking at the opening of the training course, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee Dinh Van Khoa said that in recent times, the city has strictly implemented the directives and resolutions of the Central and Hanoi Party Committee on religious affairs. Thereby, the religious situation in the capital has had positive changes. Religious activities take place within the legal framework, political security is maintained, creating trust and excitement among dignitaries and followers.

Emphasizing the importance of religious work in the context of the city operating a two-level local government, comrade Dinh Van Khoa affirmed that the good implementation of tasks on ethnic and religious work will contribute to consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, thereby contributing to taking care of people's lives and building a cultured, civilized and happy capital.

Therefore, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee organized 3 training courses to supplement knowledge, skills and experience for grassroots cadres to promptly resolve difficulties and problems arising in ethnic and religious affairs in the process of operating the two-level local government. Along with the training session for 282 trainees working in religious affairs in 47 central wards of the city, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee organized 2 training courses for 474 trainees who are cadres of communes and wards in the East, North, West and South of the city. According to the plan, each class will train 2 topics to foster and update the latest religious knowledge for grassroots cadres.

Immediately after the opening session, the training course entered the professional content with two topics designed to closely follow the practical situation at the grassroots level. The trainees listened to Deputy Director of the Department of Social Opinion Research, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Hoang Ba Hai directly present Topic 1, focusing on "Current situation of ethnic and religious work in Vietnam and Hanoi city; issues arising in the new situation".

In Topic 2, Comrade Hoang Ba Hai informed the core contents of the latest documents of the Central Committee on ethnic and religious affairs. Thereby, helping students update and unify their understanding of the viewpoints and policies of the Party and State on this issue. From practical experience, Topic 2 also shared valuable experiences to solve difficult problems in the field of ethnicity and religion in our country...

Through the training course, officials in charge of religious work in communes and wards will have the opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of religious work, meeting practical requirements and successfully completing political tasks in the new development period.

The City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department also requires that after each class, it is necessary to organize an evaluation and draw lessons from experience to adjust the topics and organization methods accordingly, ensuring long-term training effectiveness.
