Training on gender equality in digital transformation

In celebration of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union, on the afternoon of October 17, the Labor Federations of districts, cities, and industry unions jointly organized a training conference on gender equality in digital transformation for union officials of the Labor Federations of districts, cities, and industry unions; and heads of the Women's Unions of grassroots unions under the units.

At the conference, students listened to lecturers from the Vietnam Women's Academy deliver lectures on topics such as gender equality in digital transformation; Gender and family relationships in the 4.0 era.

Delegates also shared the current situation and solutions to improve awareness and attitudes towards gender in the workplace. From there, they proposed practical and effective methods in trade union activities.

Through the training conference, union officials will improve their knowledge and skills in integrating gender into their work programs, promoting gender equality in digital transformation, thereby effectively implementing gender equality in the whole province, contributing to reducing the gender gap and improving the position of women in social life.

The training conference is also an opportunity for trainees to learn, exchange and share experiences in implementing gender equality work.
