On June 3, at the Provincial Statistics Office, the Provincial Steering Committee for the General Census of Rural and Agricultural Areas held a training conference on professional skills for the General Census of Rural and Agricultural Areas in 2025.
Comrade Ho Thi Nguyen Thao, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the General Statistics Office; members of the Steering Committee for the General Census of Agriculture and Rural Areas of the province and districts, towns and cities attended the conference.

During the 3 days (June 3-5), delegates were instructed and discussed the main contents of the Provincial Steering Committee's General Census Plan; introduced the types of questionnaires for the 2025 agricultural and rural census; the structure of the questionnaire, the content of the questionnaire; methods of collecting information of the types of survey questionnaires. At the same time, delegates were introduced to the types of software used in the 2025 agricultural and rural census; instructions on using information collection software, management and operation software; training, inspection, supervision and propaganda in the 2025 agricultural and rural census.
The 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census is conducted to collect basic information on agriculture, forestry, fishery and rural areas to compile relevant statistical indicators in the national indicator system; compile socio-economic indicators to serve the assessment of the current situation, analyze change trends, develop plans and strategies for rural development, agricultural, forestry and fishery sectors and improve the living standards of rural residents. At the same time, serve research to assess the scale and structure of rural labor and agricultural, forestry and fishery labor, changes in rural infrastructure; build a database on rural areas and agriculture, forestry and fishery to serve in-depth research.
This is the 6th census conducted nationwide, starting from July 1-30.
