Binh Lieu: Import-export turnover decreased sharply compared to the same period

According to the People's Committee of Binh Lieu district, from the beginning of the year until now, the total import-export turnover through the Hoanh Mo (Vietnam) - Dong Trung (China) border gate pair reached more than 23.6 million USD, a sharp decrease compared to the same period.

In the first 5 months of the year, the total import-export turnover to China through the Hoanh Mo - Dong Van Border Gate Economic Zone reached 23.68 million USD. Of which, the import turnover reached 13.19 million USD, down 51.7% over the same period in 2024; the export turnover reached 10.49 million USD, down 52.51% over the same period in 2024.

Main imported items include: Tiles, furniture, auto parts, consumer goods; Exported items include: Longan, cashew nuts, lotus seeds, pepper, star anise, cinnamon bark, base paper, cloves, acacia bark, bamboo and rattan...

Total state budget revenue from import-export activities reached more than 25.8 billion VND, reaching 21.2% of the estimate, equal to 47.37% over the same period in 2024.
