Training on handling microbial products in livestock farming for farmers

On June 4, the Center for Science and Technology (Department of Science and Technology) coordinated with the Farmers' Association of Hoa Dinh Dong commune and Hoa An commune (Phu Hoa district) to organize training on technical procedures for treating odors in pig and cow barns using PYMIC microbiological products for 60 farming households in these two localities.

At the training course, the center's technical staff introduced the technical process of treating the odor of pig and cow barns using PYMIC microbiological products; dosage and technical methods of using and spraying PYMIC microbiological products to treat the odor of barns; the process of using PMIC microorganisms to compost organic fertilizer from manure and agricultural by-products (selecting and preparing raw materials, composting location, method of mixing waste products with composting raw materials, covering compost, mixing compost and preserving organic microbial fertilizer products...).

According to Deputy Director of the Center for Science and Technology Nguyen Trong Luc, during the technical training session for farmers in 2025, the center will coordinate with the farmers' associations of 20 communes in the province to organize 20 technical processes, such as: treating the odor of pig and cow barns with PYMIC microbiological products and producing organic fertilizers on a household scale; growing corn for silage and fattening cattle with silage; growing and propagating hybrid acacia; growing edible and medicinal mushrooms; growing lilies and chrysanthemums, etc.

In addition, the center's technical staff also built and demonstrated 4 models of treating pig and cow waste into organic fertilizer using PYMIC microbiological products and producing organic fertilizer on a household scale for people in Tuy An and Son Hoa districts for people to learn and follow.

According to the plan, these training courses will last from now until June 30.
