The program was held to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the People's Public Security studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings, towards the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
This is one of the highlights of the series of music gala events "Glory of the People's Public Security of Vietnam" which opened on the afternoon of June 6 at Nguyen Hue walking street and Le Loi street. The highlight of the program is the exhibition area, displaying vehicles and organizing fire prevention and rescue experience activities by the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Ho Chi Minh City Police.
Visiting the exhibition booth, Lieutenant General Nguyen Tuan Anh, Director of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department and delegates listened to Colonel Tran Van Hieu, Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, report and introduce the exhibition and experience areas implemented by the unit. The booths demonstrated thorough investment with many modern means and equipment such as: Specialized underwater and high-altitude rescue equipment; automatic and intelligent fire alarm systems; multi-purpose training models (fireblast) and modern fire-fighting robots and drones.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Tuan Anh highly appreciated the careful preparation, professionalism and sense of responsibility of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police and directed many important issues.
Accordingly, it is necessary to continue to strengthen the propaganda and dissemination of laws and knowledge on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue to all classes of people, in order to raise the awareness and responsibility of each individual, agency and organization in fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue. At the same time, continue to promote the establishment and maintenance of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Joint Team and the Public Fire Fighting, Rescue and Rescue Points in Ho Chi Minh City, especially in the central districts.
On the first day of the event, thousands of people and visitors, especially children and teenagers, came to the exhibition booth to participate in transforming into firefighters; experience wearing firefighting and rescue uniforms, practice firefighting; directly use fire extinguishers to extinguish fires caused by gas leaks; practice spreading hoses, installing and holding firefighting helmets; experience multi-purpose training models simulating complex fire situations; visit and learn about underwater rescue equipment and weapons; visit drone equipment serving command, operation, fire reconnaissance and real-time information transmission to the 114 Command Center.
These visual and vivid activities have helped people better understand the hardships, dangers and professionalism of the People's Public Security Forces in general and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force in particular, thereby contributing to the strong spread of the movement "All people participate in Fire Prevention and Rescue". These activities are open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on June 6, 7 and 8, 2025.
At this time, localities across the country are holding conferences to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 47-CT/TW dated June 25, 2015 of the Secretariat on "strengthening the Party's leadership in fire prevention and fighting".
