Training on the process of reviewing poor and near-poor households and identifying households with average living standards

On October 13, 15, and 16, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hung Yen province organized a training conference on the process of reviewing poor and near-poor households and identifying households with average living standards periodically in 2025 for members of the working group assisting the Steering Committee for reviewing poor and near-poor households at the provincial level, along with representatives of leaders and experts in charge of poverty reduction in 104 communes and wards.

The conference aims to equip cadres at all levels with knowledge, skills and methods to review poor and near-poor households in a scientific , objective and correct manner and according to procedures and regulations.

At the conference, delegates listened to the instructions of the Central and the province on poverty reduction after implementing the 2-level local government model; instructions of the Department of Agriculture and Environment on periodic review of poor and near-poor households in 2025 and identification of households working in agriculture, forestry, fishery and salt production with average living standards in the province; Toolkit for periodic review of poor and near-poor households in 2025 and identification of income of households working in agriculture, forestry, fishery and salt production with average living standards; method of recording data on poor and near-poor households in 2025 and reporting forms. Delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the tasks of commune-level authorities on contents related to the process of periodic review of poor and near-poor households in 2025 and identification of income of households working in agriculture, forestry, fishery and salt production with average living standards.
The training conference aims to equip cadres at all levels, especially at the commune level, with knowledge, skills and methods to conduct screening of poor and near-poor households in a scientific, objective manner and in accordance with procedures and regulations.
