In order to contribute to preserving and honoring the value of the art of Bài Chòi in Central Vietnam - a cultural heritage that has been included by UNESCO in the list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity - the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Binh province has opened a training course on skills to organize Bài Chòi playing festival and call and sing Bài Chòi in Quang Binh province in 2024 with the participation of 24 artisans and students from localities in the province.

At this training course, the artisans taught the skills of organizing a Bai Choi festival and calling and singing Bai Choi to students from Bai Choi Clubs in the province. This is an opportunity for artisans and students of Bai Choi Clubs in the province to exchange experiences in performing Bai Choi festivals with unique features through lyrics, melodies, and folk songs imbued with the cultural identity of each locality.
According to the organizers' assessment, the training course recognized the dedicated contributions of the artisans through preserving and promoting the values of intangible cultural heritage, contributing to the preservation and honoring of the value of the art of Bài Chòi in Central Vietnam, thereby promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage to preserve the quintessence and soul of Quang Binh province's folk art in the flow of contemporary life.
After the training course, the trainees will return to their hometowns and participate in local cultural and artistic activities, contributing to spreading the love of Bài Chòi to the people and the community, in order to preserve and promote traditional folk culture in their homeland./.
