Focus on developing industrial and energy infrastructure - Creating momentum to attract investment

In the energy sector, the project to supply electricity to rural areas from the national grid phase II (2014-2025) continues to be implemented, focusing on supplying electricity to communes under the National Target Program on New Rural Development in 2025. At the same time, the province also strengthens coordination and supports the acceleration of 110kV and 220kV grid projects to soon put them into operation, meeting the increasing electricity demand of industrial parks and residents. Regarding industrial infrastructure, the province is focusing on supporting investors to accelerate the implementation of projects in Tran Yen Industrial Park and Phu Thinh 1, Phu Thinh 2, and Yen Hop industrial clusters.

In particular, the province is carrying out procedures to establish new industrial clusters An Thinh and Bao Hung 2 in Tran Yen district, aiming to expand the space for industrial development and attract more potential investors. To achieve these goals, Yen Bai province has made specific recommendations to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam Electricity Group, proposing support for investment in power transmission lines, transformer stations and allocating funds for projects to renovate and upgrade power works. The province also proposed to add solar, wind and biomass power projects to the national power development plan, aiming to exploit the local renewable energy potential to the fullest.

The focus on developing industrial and energy infrastructure is expected to create breakthroughs in attracting investment to Yen Bai, contributing to promoting the province's socio -economic development in the coming period.
