In the early morning of March 26th, a fire broke out in Kinh Te hamlet, Hiep Thanh ward, completely destroying the seafood purchasing vessel with registration number ST 91016 ST belonging to Mr. Truong Thanh Phong (born in 1977).

According to initial reports, residents spotted smoke and flames rising from the anchored boat. Because the vessel contained many flammable items such as fishing gear , fuel, and supplies for purchasing seafood, the fire quickly spread, engulfing the entire boat in a short time.

The Nha Mat Border Guard Post and local residents participated in extinguishing the fire.

Upon receiving the report, the fire fighting force promptly arrived at the scene, coordinating with officers and soldiers of the Nha Mat Border Guard Station and local people to implement measures to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby vehicles.

The fire caused no casualties, but all the property on the boat was destroyed, resulting in significant economic losses. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities.
