Phuc Huynh's top performance at the Pickleball Dubai Open 2025 surprised many fans. Accordingly, the Vietnamese-born tennis player achieved a perfect record in all matches in the men's singles event.
On the first day of competition, he passed the group stage with 5 overwhelming victories against 5 opponents from many different countries to advance to the semi-finals.

Here, Phuc Huynh excellently defeated Indian tennis player, Jaishnu Krishnan with a score of 11-2, 11-5 to advance to the final to meet James Chauohary.
In the match that decided the championship, Phuc Huynh showed his superiority when he defeated his opponent with a convincing score of 11-6, 11-3. His strong will, precise technique and fiery fighting spirit helped him not give his opponent a chance to turn the game around.
With this victory, the 25-year-old player not only affirmed his image in the international arena but also brought great pride to Vietnamese pickleball.
In addition to winning the men's singles title, Phuc Huynh also won the runner-up position in the men's doubles and tied for third place in the mixed doubles. This achievement is a testament to the talent and enthusiasm of the tennis player representing Vietnam at the Pickleball Dubai Open 2025.
Huynh Thien Phuc, born in 2000, is an athlete of Vietnamese origin. He moved to the US at the age of 3 and became a professional pickleball player. In 2024, when the pickleball movement developed in Vietnam, Phuc Huynh returned to compete in Vietnam. He hopes to participate in international tournaments with Vietnam.
At the Asian Open Pickleball Tournament held in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024, Phuc Huynh made a splash when he won the 19+ men's singles event.
At the 2025 National Pickleball Championship, Phuc Huynh won the men's singles under 35 years old. In addition, he also won the runner-up position in the men's doubles under 35 years old after losing to the pair Ly Hoang Nam - Linh Giang.
