Competing in the Horse Racing final, Dang Ngoc Xuan Thien performed impressively, receiving the highest score from the judges, thereby winning the World Cup gold medal. Following him were Zeinolla Idrissov (Kazakhstan, silver medal) and Abdulla Azimov (Uzbekistan, bronze medal).

Xuan Thien's victory was a big surprise because he was not rated as highly as his opponents, including Idrissov, who won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal at the world championship in early 2025.

After Xuan Thien, the Vietnamese gymnastics team continues to hope in Nguyen Van Khanh Phong (Hoops), Trinh Hai Khang (Vault) and Dinh Phuong Thanh (Parallel Bar).

The Vietnam Gymnastics team has registered 5 male athletes under the guidance of coach Truong Minh Sang to compete in the 2025 FIG World Challenge Cup in Bulgaria. The tournament will take place from May 8 to 11.

Previously, at the 2025 Asian Canoeing Championship in China, the Vietnamese Canoeing team won 1 gold medal, 4 silver medals and 1 bronze medal, ranking 3rd overall. The valuable gold medal came from the C4 Mix event. The Vietnamese Canoeing team (Pham Hong Quan, Bui Thi Yen, Ma Thi Thuy, Hien Nam) excellently overcame strong opponents from China and Kazakhstan, winning outright.
