Ten Hag is about to escape unemployment

Ten Hag could become head coach of Bayer Leverkusen.

According to Sky Sports , Leverkusen want to negotiate with Como about appointing Fabregas to replace Xabi Alonso on the coaching bench. However, the Serie A team does not want to let the former Arsenal midfielder go.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added: "Como have confirmed with Bayer Leverkusen their plans to continue with Fabregas. Despite recent rumours, Fabregas has never been close to leaving Como."

Como's move forced Leverkusen to turn to Ten Hag. Goal confirmed that the Dutch coach is likely to be chosen to sit in the hot seat at BayArena next season.
