The all-new BMW 7 Series is the model that gave birth to the BMW Lxury Class and is one of the most traditional sedans of BMW. Launched in 1977 and positioned from the beginning as a large, luxurious sedan and possessing the most technology from BMW. In the new generation, the BMW 7 Series will be launched in Vietnam with 3 versions including BMW 735i M Sport, BMW 735i Pure Excellence and BMW 740i Excellence. New generation BMW 7-Series The new generation BMW 7-Series is the main highlight of the launch. The car has 3 versions: 735i M Sport, 735i Pure Excellence and 740i Pure Excellence, priced at 5.199 billion VND, 5.339 billion VND and 6.599 billion VND respectively.

BMW 740i Pure Excellence 2023 launched in Vietnam

This price is equivalent to the rival Mercedes-Benz S-Class, which is distributing two versions, the S 450 and S 450 Luxury, priced at VND 5.039 billion and VND 5.559 billion respectively. The name is one of the major changes on the new generation 7-Series in Vietnam. The old generation had the 730Li and 740Li versions to identify it as the extended wheelbase (LWB) version, while the completely new generation drops the "L" suffix and defaults to only having the extended wheelbase version.

The BMW 735i and 740i Pure Excellence are designed for luxury, while the BMW 735i M Sport is sporty . The difference between the two exterior packages is clearly shown in the more aggressive front bumper and around the radiator grille, side panels, door handles, etc. painted in glossy black on the M Sport version. 20-inch wheels are equipped on the two Pure Excellence versions, while the M Sport version is 21 inches. The interior of the 2023 BMW 7-Series applies many high-end technologies. In the middle of the cabin is a dual screen cluster, including a 14.9-inch central screen and a 12.3-inch speed screen running the latest iDrive8 operating system. The crystal strip on the dashboard is called Interaction Bar - a touch control bar running between the dashboard and the center console where a series of virtual control buttons are located as well as an interior backlight system that can change color according to theme or preference, "hidden" front air vents, etc. The rear seats for the boss even possess many convenient and modern technologies that are outstanding in the segment such as the rear seats can be reclined up to 42.5 degrees with a single press, integrating massage, heating/cooling functions. Most of the seat control functions, heating/cooling system, sunshades, smartphone connection, calling, etc. are adjusted via two 5.5-inch touch screens located on each side of the car door. Unfortunately, the BMW 7-Series in Vietnam is not equipped with the 8K resolution Theater Screen OLED ceiling screen.

Luxurious and elegant interior — Luxurious and classy interior

All three 7-Series versions have a panoramic sunroof, but the two Pure Excellence versions get a higher-end Sky Lounge version, incorporating thousands of micro-LEDs. In terms of engine, the 2023 BMW 735i uses a 3.0L, turbocharged, 6-cylinder gasoline engine that produces a maximum capacity of 286 horsepower and a maximum torque of 425 Nm. Meanwhile, the BMW 740i uses the same engine, but the capacity is tweaked to 381 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque. All-new BMW i7

BMW i7 xDrive60 Pure Excellence at the launch

Along with the 7-Series, there is also the BMW i7 using an electric motor. In Vietnam, the car is distributed in only one version, xDrive60 Pure Excellence, with a selling price of 7.199 billion VND. Equipment and features are similar to the BMW 740i Pure Excellence.

The car is equipped with an electric motor, producing 544 horsepower and 745 Nm of torque. The 101.7 kWh battery pack provides a range of 591-625 km after a full charge. The battery charging time is 10.5 hours with an 11kW power source and 5.5 hours with a 22kW power source. For DC charging (500A), the charging time from 10-80% is 34 minutes. BMW 8-Series upgrades The BMW 8-Series at its launch is a facelift version (mid-life upgrade). The car continues to distribute only the 840i M Sport Gran Coupe version. The car is equipped with the standard M Sport package, including a new front bumper, side skirts, 20-inch M rims (type 730), M brakes with blue brake calipers. The headlights on the genuine car are laser type. In addition, the upgraded 8-Series also has an Iconic Glow radiator grille.

The interior of the 2023 BMW 8-Series has not changed much. The recognizable feature is the entertainment screen that has been upgraded from 10.25 inches to 12.3 inches. Other equipment such as a 12.3-inch LCD speedometer, crystal gearshift, sports seats, Harman Kardon speakers, etc. remain the same. The car is equipped with a 3.0L turbocharged, 6-cylinder engine, 335 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 5.3 seconds. The 2023 BMW 840i M Sport is priced at VND 6.899 billion in the Vietnamese market. New generation BMW X7

After a few weeks of display at the dealership, today (April 26), the new BMW X7 2023 was officially launched with two versions: M Sport and Pure Excellence, priced at VND 6.299 billion and VND 7.399 billion respectively. The two versions M Sport and Pure Excellence sold in Vietnam have distinct differences in appearance. The M Sport version has a sporty bumper, 21-inch 5-spoke rims (style 754M), while the Pure Excellence version aims for luxury with 22-inch multi-spoke rims (style 757). A significant change inside is the large dual-screen cluster with a 14.9-inch central screen, iDrive8 operating system. The crystal gear lever is removed and replaced with a small but still "crystal-inlaid" toggle.

The interior of the M Sport version is covered with dark wood, while the Pure Excellence version uses light wood. The M Sport version is also different in the 3-spoke sports steering wheel. Some high-end amenities include front seats with integrated heating, cooling, massage, Merino leather upholstery, Alcantara-covered ceiling, panoramic sunroof with 15,000 light points... Both versions of the X7 xDrive40i share the same 3.0L I6 engine as the old version, but thanks to the mild-hybrid technology, it is more powerful. Engine capacity is 381 horsepower (previously 340 horsepower) and torque of 540 Nm (previously 450 Nm). The transmission is still an 8-speed automatic and four-wheel drive.
