Thai Son Nam won the first leg of the 2023 National Futsal Championship

In the round 7 match (last round of the first leg) taking place on the afternoon of April 18 at Tien Son Sports Palace (Da Nang), Thai Son Nam has the opportunity to decide the championship of the first leg when only meeting GFDI Song Han.

Before the last round of the first leg, Thai Son Nam led with 12 points, 1 point more than Sanvinest Khanh Hoa and Tan Hiep Hung.

Thai Son Nam only needs to beat GFDI Song Han to win the first leg. The pressure on Thai Son Nam was reduced when the day before, defending champion Sahako (10 points after round 6) could not beat Hanoi and lost the opportunity to temporarily take the lead and put pressure on coach Gustavo's team. Winning 4-0, Thai Son Nam won the first leg championship with 15 points. In the next match, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa drew 2-2 with Tan Hiep Hung, making both teams maintain the 2nd and 3rd positions after Thai Son Nam with 12 points, 3 points less than the first leg champion. This is also the basis for the second leg of the tournament to be more competitive. The second leg of the tournament will take place from June 28 to August 4.
