Thai Thuy: Rewarding and giving gifts to 186 union members, workers and laborers

On the afternoon of May 9, the People's Committee of Thai Thuy district coordinated with the district Labor Federation (LDL) to organize the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) in 2025.

Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the union house symbol to 6 workers and laborers.

Thai Thuy District Labor Federation currently manages 206 grassroots unions with more than 18,500 union members. With the theme of Workers' Month being "Vietnamese workers pioneering into a new era" and the theme of the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health being "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace", the District Labor Federation calls on all levels of unions to proactively develop specific action plans, suitable to the actual conditions of each unit and enterprise. The District Labor Federation requires 100% of grassroots unions to organize extensive propaganda on occupational safety and health, launch emulation movements, focusing on the movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Green, clean, beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health"; promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve productivity and labor quality. Focus on organizing activities to visit, give gifts, support union members in difficult circumstances; Honoring exemplary workers; developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; organizing consultations, seminars, and legal dialogues on occupational safety and health...

Workers in difficult circumstances were given gifts at the launching ceremony.

On this occasion, the District Labor Federation honored 49 outstanding workers; presented 131 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances; and awarded union house symbols to 6 workers and employees with a total amount of 300 million VND.
