On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, on the morning of June 30, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, National Assembly Delegation, and leaders of departments, branches, unions, districts and cities visited and presented gifts to children in the province.

Thai Binh currently has nearly 443,000 children, including over 5,400 children in special circumstances, nearly 14,500 children at risk of falling into special circumstances and children in other circumstances. In recent years, the work of protecting, caring for andeducating children has always received special attention from Party committees, authorities at all levels, departments, branches and organizations, contributing to the care of children, ensuring their basic rights, and comprehensive development in terms of physical, intellectual, personality and talent. Children in special circumstances are given attention and assistance. The work of caring for and rehabilitating children with disabilities, helping children in special circumstances integrate into community life has been implemented with attention, and children's rights are increasingly being better realized. In particular, the Children's Protection Fund at all levels annually mobilizes a significant amount of resources to implement programs and goals for children, contributing to building a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the comprehensive development of children. On the occasion of Lunar New Year, Action Month for Children, Mid-Autumn Festival, International Children's Day, thousands of gifts are given to encourage children, especially poor children and children in special circumstances.

This year's Action Month for Children with the theme "Prioritizing resources to complete goals for children" aims to continue calling for the synchronous participation of Party committees at all levels, authorities, health and education sectors, social organizations, communities and individuals to create a safe, healthy and friendly living environment for children; prevent and minimize the risks of child abuse, accidents and injuries; and enhance the provision of comprehensive care, protection and education services.

Visiting and presenting gifts to children, provincial leaders requested Party committees and authorities at all levels to step up propaganda, raise awareness and responsibility of families, schools, communities and the whole society to participate in protecting, caring for and educating children. Along with implementing current policies for children in special circumstances, localities, organizations, agencies and units should pay attention to allocating resources and prioritizing support for children in difficult circumstances and orphans, creating conditions and encouraging them to overcome difficulties, go to school and not be left behind. Organize many meaningful activities, create a suitable environment for children to live safely, friendly, cultivate morality, train intelligence to be worthy of being good children, good students, good grandchildren of Uncle Ho.
