Participate in supporting the construction of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project

Implementing the plan to deploy the peak emulation campaign of volunteering to participate in supporting the construction of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen Transmission Line Project, the Standing Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union has established and maintained the activities of 18 volunteer youth teams with 180 members to coordinate in implementing activities to support the relocation of assets, dismantling houses, auxiliary works, architectural objects, supporting the harvesting of agricultural products... Thereby, contributing to speeding up the progress of handing over the site, clearing the route corridor for the construction unit to ensure progress and quality.

Teams were established in 18 communes where the project passes through to coordinate propaganda, mobilize land clearance, and clear the route corridor to serve the project construction. From July 5 to August 19, the teams gathered nearly 600 youth union members with 1,300 working days to mobilize over 600 households to voluntarily receive compensation and promptly cut down trees and relocate houses to implement the project; support the relocation of 45 houses and barns; mobilize 55 households to voluntarily dismantle and relocate; support the cutting of trees on 18km of the route corridor; support the clearance of 100% of trees and structures on 41km of poles.

Up to now, 15/18 commune-level units in the area have completed supporting households to move furniture, dismantle constructions, and cut down trees along the 500kW power line corridor for the construction unit to implement the project. For households that have not yet dismantled or relocated, volunteer teams continue to coordinate propaganda and mobilization.

Participating in the implementation of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project demonstrates the responsibility and spirit of volunteerism of youth union members in ensuring national energy security and socio -economic development.
