Visiting and giving gifts to orphans due to Covid-19 epidemic in Phuoc Vinh commune

On April 5, the Women's Union of Phuoc Vinh Commune, Chau Thanh District, in coordination with the Women's Union of Regiment 5, Division 5, visited and presented gifts to 4 children orphaned by the Covid-19 epidemic in the commune, within the framework of the "Godmother" program.

At the program, the units presented support including cash, 200kg of rice, 60kg of vegetables, fruits, meat, fish and other foods with a total value of about 6.2 million VND. All necessities were mobilized from the production increase of officers and soldiers of Regiment 5.

The group gave gifts to the children.

It is known that from the end of 2021 until now, the Women's Union of Phuoc Vinh commune has coordinated with the Women's Union of Regiment 5 to sponsor these 4 children, with monthly support from 1 million to 1.5 million VND/child, including cash, necessities and sponsorship until the children are 18 years old.

The delegation visited the children.

The activity demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and support, contributing to taking care of the children's material and spiritual lives, helping them overcome difficulties and be steadfast in their studies and life.
