There is a high possibility that there will be strong southwest monsoons causing widespread heavy rain in the area.

In the West of the province, the rainfall is equivalent to the average. Mekong River basin: in September 2025, the total rainfall will be approximately 5-10% higher than the average for the same period.

In October 2025, total rainfall in the upstream area is generally 10-20% lower than the average for the same period, while in the midstream and downstream areas it is 10-30% higher than the average for the same period. In November 2025, total rainfall in the upstream area is generally 5-15% lower than the average for the same period, while in the midstream and downstream areas it is 5-15% higher than the average for the same period.
