Dong Nai launched 90 days and nights of site clearance for the Gia Nghia

The Provincial People's Committee aims to basically complete compensation, site clearance, and hand over the site to the investor by December 2025 to implement the project, ensuring the disbursement of allocated public investment capital.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha said: The North-South Expressway Project in the West, Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh section has a total length of nearly 129km, of which the section passing through Dong Nai province is more than 100km long, with a total investment of more than 25.5 trillion VND. This is a national key project, of strategic significance to the socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security not only of Dong Nai province but also of the entire key economic region in the South and the Central Highlands.

When completed, the route will create a new economic corridor, connecting raw material areas and industrial zones, promoting trade, logistics and improving people's lives. Therefore, completing the site clearance work on schedule is a particularly important political task, a prerequisite for the success of the entire project.

In order for the 90-day plan to be truly effective and achieve its goals, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha suggested: Relevant departments and branches identify this as a top priority task. It is necessary to uphold the spirit of responsibility, coordinate smoothly, departments and branches must apply the "green channel" to handle feedback within 24 hours of receiving reports from localities that need guidance and problem solving.

The Provincial Land Fund Development Center directed its branches to closely coordinate with relevant units to speed up procedures, ensuring transparency and publicity in compensation and support.

The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board coordinates with relevant units to ensure funding for compensation work, closely coordinates with contractors, mobilizes maximum machinery and human resources, and organizes "3 shifts" construction as soon as the site is cleared.

Leaders of communes and wards where the project passes through coordinate with organizations to promote propaganda and mobilization so that people can clearly understand the significance of the project and the State's policies and guidelines. Apply the experience of "going to every alley, knocking on every door" that the province has implemented at the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha expressed his hope that people in the project area would promote patriotism, support the policies of the Party and State, and cooperate closely so that the project can be completed soon, bringing long-term benefits to the community.

“The Provincial People's Committee commits to directing competent agencies to fully and promptly implement the best compensation and support policies according to regulations, ensuring that the life and living conditions at the new place of residence of the people will be equal to or better than the old place of residence” - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized.

At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee rewarded 15 exemplary households and agreed to hand over the site early.
