Month of action for gender equality and prevention and response to gender-based violence is held

On November 6, the Department of Science and Technology issued Official Dispatch No. 3748/SKHCN-VP on responding to the Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2025.

In the context of the increasingly strong application of science and technology and digital transformation, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation was issued in a timely manner to guide the application of science and technology and digital transformation in the process of building and operating the country.

Science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation are identified as key drivers and top priority breakthroughs for rapid and sustainable socio -economic development and enhancing national competitiveness.

The Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence is held annually from November 15th to December 15th.

It is also a highly attention-grabbing color – representing the dangerous and alarming level of violence against women and millions of children globally, calling for strong action from all stakeholders to eradicate this problem. The orange heart logo of the Action Month, along with widely used orange-colored media products, has created recognition for the Action Month and made a strong impression of collective efforts to prevent and respond to violence against women and achieve gender equality.
