Thanh Ha invests more than 85 billion VND to implement 4 agricultural projects

The road to the aquaculture area in Thanh Xuan commune is still a dirt road, making travel difficult.

Thanh Ha District People's Council has decided to invest in 4 projects in the agricultural sector with a total of more than 85 billion VND. Specifically: upgrading technical infrastructure to serve the development of agricultural production areas towards organic production combined with tourism development in Thanh Thuy commune (more than 29.5 billion VND); upgrading technical infrastructure to serve the development of agricultural production areas towards organic production combined with tourism development in Thanh Lang commune (more than 27.2 billion VND); upgrading technical infrastructure to serve the development of concentrated aquaculture areas in Thanh Xuan commune (nearly 15 billion VND); upgrading technical infrastructure to serve the development of the production areas of earthworms and crabs in Thanh Son commune (13.8 billion VND). The budget is taken from the support funds of the province and district, the implementation period is from 2024 to 2026. Investment items for upgrading works include: building roads and culverts on the way to production areas.

Projects to implement the project "Developing concentrated agricultural production applying high technology, organic agriculture in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030" in Thanh Ha district were approved by the Provincial People's Committee in 2021. Thanh Ha district currently has concentrated aquaculture areas, agricultural production areas combined with eco-tourism in: Thanh Xuan, Thanh Lang, Thanh Thuy, Thanh Son. However, the current status of the infrastructure and transportation system is still limited, causing difficulties in the development orientation of concentrated agricultural production areas applying high technology. Therefore, the renovation of these agricultural production areas is necessary.
