Thanh Hoa: Commencement of construction of textile factory project with total investment of over 1,000 billion VND

Overview of the groundbreaking ceremony.

Accordingly, the Nam Ich Thai Thang Textile Factory project is built on a total area of more than 8 hectares, with a total investment of 1,090 billion VND with the goal of producing high-quality wool and garment products to serve the Vietnamese market and for export.

The factory is invested in construction with a scale of 3 single-storey weaving workshops, 3 double-storey weaving workshops (total area of 3.3 hectares; garment workshop area with 2 single-storey sewing workshops, 2 double-storey sewing workshops (total area of more than 2.2 hectares); in addition, there are a number of other items such as shift rest houses, dormitories, office buildings, etc.

The factory will create stable employment opportunities for more than 5,000 workers, contribute to the locality through taxes and social welfare policies; contribute to promoting the overall socio -economic development of the locality and neighboring areas.

Representative of Nam Ich Group - Project investor spoke at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of Nam Ich Group said that the Group was established in 1963 in Hong Kong (China). In 1981, it began expanding its investment in China and many other countries, including Vietnam, with the determination to bring the Group's sweater manufacturing brand to the top position in the world .

In Thanh Hoa , Nam Ich Group officially put the first factory into operation in 2018 at Dinh Huong Industrial Park - Tay Bac Ga, Dong Linh Ward, Thanh Hoa City with a workforce of up to 1,400 people. The second factory went into operation in 2020 at Trung Chinh Quarter, Thuong Xuan Town, Thuong Xuan District with a workforce of 2,000 workers.

Nam Ich Thai Thang Textile Factory is built in Thai Thang Industrial Park, Hoang Hoa District. It is the third factory, constructed by Viet Hung Group Joint Stock Company, and is expected to be completed and put into operation by January 2025.

The factory, once operational, will create stable jobs for more than 5,000 local workers.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of Hoang Hoa district requested the investor and contractor to focus on construction to ensure the progress and quality of the factory. At the same time, they requested the functional agencies and local authorities to create favorable conditions within the legal framework for the investor and contractor to implement construction and put the project into operation soon.
