Thanh Hoa: Planning to implement the project to build 1 million social housing apartments

Accordingly, implementing Decision 338 of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 01 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030", Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued a Plan to implement the Project with the goal of developing social housing and workers' housing with good quality and prices suitable to the affordability of beneficiaries of social housing support policies in the province.

At the same time, encourage economic sectors to participate in developing social housing to meet people's housing needs; at the same time, have policies to support housing for social policy beneficiaries, low-income people and the poor who have housing difficulties.

In particular, complete the target of total number of social housing apartments and workers' housing according to the assigned targets in the Project for Thanh Hoa province.

This project also presents the viewpoint that developing social housing for low-income people and industrial park workers is one of the important tasks in the socio-economic development of Thanh Hoa province, and is the responsibility and obligation of state management agencies, enterprises, people and the whole society.

Heads of departments, branches and localities must pay attention, be responsible and resolutely promote the development of social housing for low-income people and industrial park workers in the province.

Thanh Hoa province strives to complete at least 13,787 apartments in the province by 2030. Of which, about 6,287 apartments will be completed in the 2021-2025 period; about 7,500 apartments will be completed in the 2026-2030 period.
