Accordingly, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh is the Head of the Steering Committee of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of Socio -Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung is the Deputy Head of the Steering Committee.
Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh is the Head of the Steering Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung is the Standing Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.
The Deputy Heads of the Committee include: Mr. Nguyen Quang Duc, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Ms. Vu Thu Ha, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
The Steering Committee is an inter-sectoral coordination organization, whose function is to assist the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating the resolution of important, inter-sectoral tasks related to the implementation of the exhibition of socio-economic achievements, contributing to the solemn organization, commensurate with the stature and significance of the event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The Steering Committee is responsible for advising and proposing specific and effective plans, solutions and methods to carry out activities to exhibit socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Direct relevant ministries, agencies and localities to closely coordinate and focus on promptly resolving difficulties and problems during the implementation process.
The Steering Committee works part-time, promotes personal responsibility, performs functions, tasks and powers according to the Regulations on organization and operation of the Steering Committee issued by the Head of the Steering Committee.
The Head of the Steering Committee uses the Prime Minister's seal; the Deputy Heads and Members use the seal of the governing body.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the standing body of the Steering Committee, developing the Regulations on organization and operation of the Steering Committee and submitting them to the Head of the Steering Committee for signature and promulgation; using the existing apparatus to organize the implementation of tasks assigned by the Steering Committee, ensuring that the staff of the ministry assigned by the competent authority is not increased.
Agencies with members participating in the Steering Committee use their existing apparatus to perform tasks to assist the Steering Committee, operating on a part-time basis.
The Steering Committee dissolves itself after completing its tasks.
