Lao Cai students won 3 awards at the 21st National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition in 2025

The Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations has just issued a Decision on awarding prizes for the 21st National Creativity Competition for Youth and Children in 2025. In which, Lao Cai is honored to have 3 groups of students winning prizes at the Competition, with 1 Third Prize and 2 Encouragement Prizes.

Participating in the 21st National Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2025, Lao Cai submitted 7 competition topics, including: Application of stepper motors and DnD programming methods to make smart trigonometric circle models; Rescue support equipment on rivers and lakes; Simulation games of life and activities of students using wheelchairs; Fairy tale world of star fruit trees; Hoan Kiem Lake model telling stories; Echoes of Vietnamese folk songs; Mini tissue culture equipment integrating IoT in teaching and STEM experiences for students in mountainous areas.

Accordingly, out of a total of 105 topics selected for awards nationwide, Lao Cai had 3/7 topics awarded, including: Topic Applying stepper motors and DnD programming methods to create the model "Smart trigonometric circle", by the group of students Van Ha Vy, Vu Duc Thanh, Nguyen Thi Ly Ly, Nguyen Minh Hang, Duong Tra My, Lao Cai Specialized High School won the Third prize ; topic Fairy tale world of star fruit tree, by the group of students Nguyen Ba Nhat Long, Do Ngoc Kim Ngan, Tran Linh Ngoc, Vu Quynh Anh, Ngo Huu Nghia, Pho Lu Primary School No. 2, Bao Thang commune won the Encouragement prize ; topic Rescue support equipment on rivers and lakes, by the group of students Giang Thanh Xuan, Nguyen Thanh Quang, Giang Thi Thu Thao, Can Cau Primary School, Si Ma Cai commune won the Encouragement prize .

This is the 18th year Lao Cai has had a winning topic at the National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition. Up to now, Lao Cai has had 21 winning topics at the National Competition, including: 2 Special Prizes, 2 First Prizes, 2 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes and 10 Encouragement Prizes.
