Establishment of Khanh Hoa Province Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board

(Chinhphu.vn) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed Decision No. 1570/QD-TTg dated July 21, 2025 on the establishment of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board.

According to the Decision, the Khanh Hoa Province Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board was established on the basis of merging the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board of Khanh Hoa Province and the Ninh Thuan Province Industrial Parks Management Board.

Khanh Hoa Province Economic Zone and Industrial Zone Management Board (hereinafter referred to as the Management Board) is an agency under the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province, performing the function of direct state management of industrial zones and economic zones in Khanh Hoa Province; managing and organizing the implementation of the function of providing public administrative services and other support services related to investment, production and business activities for enterprises in industrial zones and economic zones according to the provisions of law.

The Management Board has legal status; has an account and a seal bearing the National Emblem; state administrative management funds, career operation funds of the Management Board and development investment capital are provided by the state budget according to the plan and other funding sources according to regulations of competent state agencies.

Duties and powers of the Management Board

The Management Board performs the duties and powers as prescribed by current laws.

The Head of the Management Board shall submit to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province for specific regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Management Board in accordance with the provisions of law.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing (July 21, 2025); abolishes Decision No. 998/QD-TTg dated July 24, 2006 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board of Khanh Hoa province; Decision No. 719/QD-TTg dated June 7, 2007 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Industrial Parks Management Board of Ninh Thuan province.
