
The Ho Chi Minh City delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, the Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Phuoc Loc, expressed his deep sympathy and condolences for the damage caused by floods and natural disasters in Hue City in recent times. He also affirmed that this sentiment and support reflects the heartfelt concern of the Party Committee, government, and people of Ho Chi Minh City for the people of Central Vietnam in general.
This support also strengthens the close, affectionate, and shared relationship between the governments and people of the two cities in particular, contributing to helping the people of Hue city quickly stabilize their lives, restore production and daily activities after the natural disaster, and continue to develop in a manner worthy of its position as a cultural and tourism center of the country.
On behalf of the leaders of Hue City, the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Nguyen Chi Tai, respectfully thanked the Party Committee, government, and people of Ho Chi Minh City for their timely and heartfelt attention and support to the people of Hue City.

The comrade stated that immediately after the recent natural disaster, Hue city focused on mobilizing forces to overcome the consequences, ensure environmental sanitation, take care of people's lives, and quickly bring daily life and production activities back to normal. The support from Ho Chi Minh City is a great encouragement, giving Hue more strength to continue overcoming difficulties, recovering, and developing sustainably.
Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai affirmed that Hue City will allocate and use the support funds effectively, for the right purpose, and promptly to households severely affected by natural disasters, helping people to stabilize their lives as soon as possible.

On the afternoon of November 11th, from a support fund of 20 billion VND, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation donated 300 million VND to repair Tay Loc Kindergarten; provided 200 million VND to two families for house construction in Loc An commune; and also presented gifts to 78 poor households in Phu Xuan ward, each receiving a gift worth 500,000 VND and 1.5 million VND in cash; and provided support to 20 kindergarten children, each receiving a gift worth 500,000 VND and 1.5 million VND in cash.
