Issued 30 inspection conclusions
The report on work results for October 2025 shows that the Government Inspectorate's leaders have focused on directing departments, divisions, and units to improve the quality and efficiency of their work. Speeding up the implementation of tasks according to the 2025 work plan and program and assigned ad hoc tasks in all aspects of work.
In particular, focusing on preparing content to serve the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly ; issuing conclusions on specialized inspections of projects with difficulties and problems; issuing the 2026 Inspection Program Orientation; speeding up the implementation of tasks towards the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Inspection Tradition Day.
Notably, in October, the Government Inspectorate continued to implement the 2025 Inspection Plan, focusing on conducting inspections of two specialized topics as directed by the Central Steering Committee and the Prime Minister. At the same time, it issued conclusions on specialized inspections of projects with difficulties and problems; continued to conduct specialized inspections on preventing and combating waste in the management and use of housing and land facilities managed by state agencies, organizations and enterprises.
The total number of inspections conducted during the month was 42; 30 conclusions of 23 inspections were issued (including 22 inspections on thematic projects with difficulties and problems under the direction of the Prime Minister); 2 inspections reported to the Prime Minister draft inspection conclusions; 13 inspections are preparing reports and draft inspection conclusions; 14 direct inspections (including 10 specialized inspections on waste prevention and control).
About work Supervision and appraisal work, according to the Government Inspectorate's report, departments, offices and units are supervising the activities of 14 inspection teams; completing the appraisal of 3 draft inspection conclusions.
Regarding citizen reception, in October 2025, the Central Citizen Reception Office in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City received 357 visits with 787 citizens presenting 352 cases. There were 25 large groups presenting 25 cases; 1,433/1,538 were classified and processed, with the remaining 105 petitions being processed.
Along with that, the Government issued a Report on citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement in 2025 and continued to implement a plan to guide, urge and inspect 210 complicated complaints and denunciations regarding security and order.
Carry out the tasks assigned by the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee on the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; advise on the issuance of the Government's Report on anti-corruption work in 2025; submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval of 2 draft Law dossiers at the 10th Session.
Speed up the issuance of inspection conclusions
In November 2025, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong directed departments, offices, and units to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement resolutions and directions of the Government, Prime Minister, Party Standing Committee, and Government Inspector General on inspection.
In particular, the Inspector General requested the departments and offices to continue implementing the 2025 Inspection Plan and assigned surprise inspections; speed up the issuance of inspection conclusions, especially those assigned by the Steering Committee and the Prime Minister; increase publicity and transparency, improve discipline, administrative discipline, and public ethics in inspection activities.
Regarding the work of receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations, the Inspector General requested to continue to effectively implement the Law on Reception of Citizens, the Law on Complaints, the Law on Denunciations, directives and resolutions of the Central Committee, the National Assembly, and directions of the Government and the Prime Minister on this work.
The Central Citizen Reception Committee strengthens coordination between central agencies participating in citizen reception at the Headquarters; ensures that citizens coming to the Headquarters are received and guided according to regulations, and citizens' petitions are promptly processed.
At the same time, closely coordinate with functional agencies and localities to grasp the situation of citizens' complaints, propagate and mobilize citizens to return to their localities to contribute to ensuring stable security and order in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; ensure good service for the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly.
The local and sector management departments shall proactively grasp the situation of complaints and denunciations, effectively perform State management work in the local and sector under their responsibility; closely coordinate with the Central Citizen Reception Committee and departments, ministries, branches and localities in advising and handling complicated cases (if any).
The Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Resolution in the Northern region (Department I) presides over and coordinates with the Departments of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Resolution in the Central and Southern regions (Departments II and III) to continue urging localities to implement plans to handle and resolve the remaining cases out of 226 cases of prolonged complaints and denunciations that have gone beyond the central level in Hanoi; report to the Central Inspection Committee and the Central Internal Affairs Committee as requested.
At the same time, urgently preside over guiding, urging, and inspecting localities in reviewing, handling, and resolving 210 cases (according to Plan No. 329/TTCP-KH), reporting the implementation results of the Working Group and synthesizing the implementation results of localities to the Government Inspector General.
Regarding the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity, the Inspector General assigned the Department of Prevention and Combating Corruption and Negativity (Department IV) to preside over and advise on continuing to effectively implement the 2025 plans of the Steering Committee and the Government Inspectorate on the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; and the National Strategy on Prevention and Combating Corruption and Negativity to 2030.
