
Recently, the Club organized a special exchange with the participation of artists from the ĐCTT Club of Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the artists brought to the students performances imbued with national identity, introducing typical amateur songs such as: Vong Kim Lang, Phi Van Diep Khuc, Nam Ai, Vong Co... Thereby, helping students better understand performance techniques, how to use traditional musical instruments such as Dan Kim, Dan Tranh and hone their singing and acting skills in ĐCTT art.
The exchange not only helped students improve their knowledge of traditional music but also aroused their passion and pride in traditional culture. The performances by the students themselves made the atmosphere lively, attractive and meaningful.
According to Mr. Tran Van Ky, a teacher at Nguyen Trung Truc 1 High School, Head of the school's DCTT Club, the club was established in 2023 with the support of the school's Board of Directors. Up to now, the club has more than 20 members including teachers and students, regularly participating, performing in school activities and movements and interacting with other clubs. "The students participate very enthusiastically, actively learn and show their artistic talent through each activity," Mr. Ky shared.

Amateur artist Nguyen Truong Dau, Head of the Rach Gia Ward Musical Instrument Club, said: Recognizing the passion of teachers and students of Nguyen Trung Truc 1 High School, the Rach Gia Ward Club has regularly coordinated to support and guide performance techniques and practice singing for students from short pieces. "When activities are difficult due to the lack of a musician, we always send someone to help, so that the students can maintain their passion and progress every day," said Mr. Dau.
In particular, the school club also registered its members to participate in singing and musical training classes organized by the Rach Gia Ward Musical Club, helping students to approach the curriculum and improve their performance skills. Although it was established not long ago, the club has received attention and encouragement from the Board of Directors and many students in the school.
2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the recognition of Southern ĐCTT art by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In the journey of preserving and promoting the value of heritage, An Giang province and other provinces and cities in the South have had many practical activities - in which, bringing ĐCTT into schools is a meaningful and sustainable direction.
With the love and passion of teachers and students of Nguyen Trung Truc 1 High School, the art of ĐCTT is being strongly spread among the young generation - contributing to preserving and promoting the value of national cultural heritage, so that the sweet sounds of instruments and voices of the Southern land continue to resonate in today's life.
