(Chinhphu.vn) - On October 31, at the headquarters of the Government Inspectorate, the Inspectorate Newspaper held the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the "Inspirational Figures in the Inspectorate Sector" contest in 2025.

The competition is a meaningful activity leading up to the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Inspectorate (November 23, 1945 - November 23, 2025) and the 6th National Emulation Congress of the Inspectorate Sector, contributing to honoring outstanding individuals and collectives throughout the 80-year journey of building, developing, and contributing to the Vietnamese Inspectorate sector.

Launched on July 8, 2025, as part of the Government Inspectorate's plan, the "Inspirational Figure in the Inspectorate Sector" contest in 2025 has become a widespread political and professional activity, receiving positive responses from officials and employees of the Inspectorate sector, as well as numerous journalists, researchers, students, and citizens who admire the sector's activities nationwide and abroad.

The competition aims to find and honor exemplary individuals who are spreading the spirit of "Truthfulness, Integrity, and Loyalty," dedicated and resilient people in the fight against corruption and negative practices; pioneers in digital transformation and innovation in inspection methods; and those with many outstanding initiatives and achievements in their professional work and a strong, positive influence on the community.

The entries, presented in a variety of formats such as journalistic articles, video reports, emagazines, and creative media products, vividly reflected real, moving, and deeply inspiring stories about the dedication and professional ethics of inspectors.

After more than 3 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee received 190 entries from central and local press agencies, units within the inspection sector, and individuals who admire the activities of the Inspection sector.

The competition organizers' assessment shows that the entries not only truthfully reflect the quiet but challenging work of inspection officers but also spread noble values ​​of honesty, integrity, courage, and dedication, strongly inspiring the entire sector.

According to the competition organizers, many entries showcased fresh perspectives on innovative inspection methods, digital transformation, improving the efficiency of citizen reception, handling complaints and denunciations, and combating corruption, contributing to the realization of the motto "Inspection for the people, serving the people".

Through three rigorous and objective rounds of judging: preliminary, semi-final, and final, the Jury selected the 16 best works. Accordingly, the First Prize of the competition was awarded to the work: "A Pa Co Son Becomes an Inspector" by author Le Huu Chinh (Inspection Newspaper).

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 5 Consolation Prizes, 2 Team Prizes, and 3 Inspirational Figure Prizes to outstanding individuals and teams participating in the competition.
