
In 2025, the results of post-inspection actions across the entire sector recovered over 3,071 billion VND for the state budget.
At the conference reviewing the results of 2025, the Director of the Department of Monitoring, Supervision and Post-Inspection Handling (Department XIV under the Government Inspectorate ), Le Thanh Liem, emphasized that although it was the first year of the new organization, the collective of the Department of Monitoring, Supervision and Post-Inspection Handling had demonstrated a proactive and responsible spirit, completing most of the planned targets and contributing to the Government Inspectorate's efforts to improve the effectiveness of state management through post-inspection work.
In 2025, this unit completed 5 out of 7 inspections in Ca Mau, Gia Lai, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Tho, and Viettel Group. The remaining two inspections will continue this December at the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions and the Ministry of Construction .
In addition, the Department advised on the issuance of 50 documents urging the implementation of inspection conclusions and one direct follow-up team, contributing to resolving many long-standing issues. At the same time, it submitted 26 reports on the results of monitoring and urging to the leaders of the Government Inspectorate for reporting to the Prime Minister as prescribed.
Notably, in 2025, the results of post-inspection handling across the entire sector recovered over 3,071 billion VND for the state budget; handled other economic issues totaling over 468 billion VND; reviewed and imposed administrative sanctions on 430 collectives and 1,361 individuals; and issued or amended 1 policy mechanism based on inspection recommendations.
Simultaneously, it effectively advised on many specialized tasks, specifically handling delayed projects, resolving difficulties in refunding people in the Dong Giap - Hai Phong project; participating in the Working Group assisting the Steering Committee for reviewing BOT, BT, and land projects; and coordinating the development of the thematic topic "Views and policies on handling land violations before 2013". It also periodically reported on the results of implementing the conclusions of the 28th session of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and waste.
In 2026, the Department of Monitoring, Supervision, and Post-Inspection Handling will continue to promote a proactive spirit, accelerating the supervision and handling of post-inspection matters; strictly adhering to deadlines and report quality standards; improving coordination with ministries, sectors, and localities; and ensuring that inspection recommendations are put into practice.
This unit also aims to complete 100% of its inspection plan; shorten document processing time; increase the rate of economic recovery through inspections; continue to advise on resolving difficult and long-standing projects; and participate deeply in the administrative reform of the Government Inspectorate.
