Dong Nai Health Department Inspectors work with 2 businesses related to suspended products sold by singer Doan Di Bang's husband's company

Accordingly, the delegation inspected the suspended products manufactured by EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company (Trang Bom District) and VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (Ho Chi Minh City) whose legal representative is Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu (Doan Di Bang's husband) responsible for bringing the products to the market. Singer Doan Di Bang also participated in promoting and representing these products.

At the time of the work, the delegation noted that the company was operating 2 production lines, arranged according to the one-way principle, the path of raw materials and semi-finished products was separate from the mixing, storage and packaging areas.

Regarding the Hanayuki Shampoo product, on May 6, the company received the recall document No. 1254/QLD-MP from the Ministry of Health regarding the suspension of circulation, recall and destruction of cosmetics that do not meet quality standards for the Hanayuki Shampoo product, batch number 0010125, production date January 5, 2025, expiration date January 4, 2027, weight 300 grams.

On May 7, the company issued Notice No. 01 on the recall of Hanayouki Shampoo products. Specifically, the company recalled 1,734/3,840 bottles from VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited. These recalled products are currently stored in the company's warehouse. VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited is continuing to recall the remaining products.

Regarding the product Hanayuki Sunscreen Body (batch number 0010125, manufacturing date 6-1-2025, expiry date 5-1-2027, weight 100 grams), the company received recall document No. 1361/QLD-MP from the Ministry of Health regarding the suspension of circulation and recall of cosmetics violating this product on May 16. The company has issued notice No. 02 regarding the recall of 1,652 boxes put on the market. Currently, VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited is conducting the recall.

Previously, on March 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Drug Testing Institute took samples for testing. The test results showed that the SPF sunscreen index was 2.4, many times lower than the one announced on the label.

The delegation also noted that for the above two products, EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company established and stored product batch records and finished product testing certificates in accordance with the production process. Testing principle contract No. 02/HD-TTKN dated June 15, 2024 with the Center for Testing Drugs, Cosmetics, and Food of Quang Tri Province.

The inspection team has temporarily detained some legal documents and papers related to the above 2 products (photocopies). The remaining quantity of recalled products is still kept in the warehouse and the company is responsible for storing the above goods.
