Tam Diep City Party Committee held a mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the City Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

On the morning of June 9, Tam Diep City Party Committee held a mid-term review conference to implement the Resolution of the 10th City Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

Attending the conference were comrade Tran Song Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; representatives of a number of Party Building Committees of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office; and the Standing Committee of Tam Diep City Party Committee.

Implementing the Resolution of the 10th City Party Congress, the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee have innovated the leadership and direction methods to ensure scientific, strict and correct implementation. Focusing on leading and directing the comprehensive and synchronous implementation of the tasks of Party building, building the political system, socio-economic development, security and defense.

Since the beginning of the term, the City Party Committee has issued 4,418 documents.Comprehensive leadership in all fields. In which, focusing on and resolutely directing the handling and resolution of key, urgent, prominent, and complex issues that have just arisen, as well as long-standing issues, clearly demonstrates the direct and comprehensive leadership role of the Party Committee and the participation of the entire political system in local political tasks.

Up to now, the City Party Committee has basically achieved and exceeded 6/12 targets of the Congress Resolution. Some of the exceeded targets are: Total State budget revenue under the management of the city; Product value per hectare of cultivated land; Rural and inner-city roads paved with asphalt or cement concrete; Poverty rate; Party Committees and Party cells completing their tasks well or better...

The economy has developed; urban infrastructure and cultural institutions have been invested in and upgraded; site clearance work has been focused on, led and directed resolutely and effectively, especially key projects of the Central Government, the province, the city and complicated problems that have existed for many years.

There have been many advances in culture and society, social security has been ensured, people's lives have been raised, and many aspects have been improved. Local defense and military have been strengthened, political security, and social order and safety have been ensured.

Administrative reform, anti-corruption and anti-negativity work, citizen reception, and complaint and denunciation settlement are focused on and implemented seriously and regularly, in accordance with the provisions of law.

The leadership capacity of Party committees and organizations at all levels, the effectiveness and efficiency of management of governments at all levels are enhanced; the political system and the great national unity bloc are consolidated and strengthened.

At the conference, many delegates focused on speaking to clarify the results achieved in the first half of the term of implementing the Resolution of the City Party Congress; the difficulties, obstacles, limitations and causes. Along with that, many delegates proposed solutions to complete and exceed the targets of the Resolution of the City Party Congress.

Based on local practice and the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, the Tam Diep City Party Committee has decided to adjust 3 targets compared to the Resolution of the City Party Congress, which are the targets: Average income per capita by the end of the term from 95 million VND to 88 million VND. Adjust the target by the end of the term for 2 communes to meet the model new rural standards to: By 2025, 1 commune (Yen Son commune) will meet the model new rural standards, 1 commune (Dong Son commune) will meet the advanced new rural standards and adjust the target for admitting new party members every year with the rate of admitting party members reaching 3% or more of the total number of party members (the target of the Congress is 110 party members/year) in the spirit of Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 of the Central Party Committee.

At the conference, with a high spirit of unity, the City Party Executive Committee voted to approve the adjustment of the targets of the Resolution of the 10th City Party Congress.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the City Party Committee after half a term of implementing the Congress Resolution. Noting the opportunities, advantages, as well as the difficulties and challenges in the coming time, he suggested that the City Party Committee should closely assess the reality, forecast the situation to continue to innovate leadership methods to ensure substance and effectiveness, closely following the direction and orientation of the province to concretize them into action programs, plans and policies suitable to the practical conditions of the locality and the development requirements of the city.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that with the important results achieved since the beginning of the term, along with the 40-year tradition of construction and growth, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Tam Diep city will continue to maintain and promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, effort and high determination to build Tam Diep to develop more and more, worthy of being the key economic region in the Southwest of the province.
